Single variety extra virgin olive oil from handpicked arbequina olives between November and January in a single state crop located in the Nature Reserve of Sierra de Segura, Jaén, in southern Spain. The olive oil juice is obtained by a cold extraction method just a few hours after the harvest, assuring all the natural properties of the olive oil and respecting the environment. It has a green apple colour, with an intense fruitiness of green olive, artichoke, almond and other fresh herbs. In the palate is soft and long, slightly bitter and with a distinctive spicy taste. As a premium olive oil, it can be used on its own, for dipping, cooking fish, preparing vinaigrettes, mayonnaise and dressing salads. Very suitable as a substitute of butter for baking.
