The seed of this variety is original from Italy, but our Maratelli is grown in Spain, particularly in Aragon and Navarra. It is an early-ripening variety and is part of the group of 'semi-fine' rice.
It has an exceptional resistance to cooking, making it perfect risottos or dishes where you need the rice to maintain its texture and shape.
Cook it for 18-20 mins to obtain a perfect dish.
