Anchovies salad

Preparation Time: 10 Cooking Time: - For 4 persons

This is a very healthy and easy to prepare dish.  As well as boasting a salty flavour, anchovies provide an excellent source of nutrition for your body.

Recipe method

  1. Separate the leaves, wash, cut and dry them. Then halve the cherry tomatoes and mix with the green salad in a bowl.
  2. Cut the cheese into thick slices and add to the salad.
  3. Add the anchovies and season the salad with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  4. Additionally you can add some salt and pepper but be careful with the salt because the anchovies are quite salty already.

Ingredients & Quantities:

250 grs of green salad (preferable lamb´s lettuce)
100 gr of cherry tomatoes
150gr of low fat cheese
1 tin flat anchovy fillets, drained
2 spoons of extra-virgin olive oil
1 spoon of balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper (only a little salt since anchovies are quite salty)
1 cup of black or green olives (optional)
